Friday Food Day

Heather's Hummus Recipe

Thanks Heather for another great recipe!

1 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
pinch cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
1/4 cup water
1/8 teaspoon paprika

Mix it all in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Variation ideas: add some basil and sun dried tomatoes... or... 1/2 lime juiced and 1/3 cup cilantro
